4. Online Mentorship 1-on-1 Sessions

By deciding to attend online sessions or events, you agree that all the intellectual property rights and materials that derive from such an online event or session are the entire and sole property of Av Neryah and of this Website and its parent company. Av Neryah’s video and voice during online sessions may be recorded for the purpose of keeping a record of his words and teachings, in case Av Neryah wants to adapt questions and answers in order to use them in teachings, videos, newsletters, articles, or books to promote the development of his work and disseminate knowledge in the public domain regarding meditation, spirituality, non-duality, and philosophy. By registering for such an event or session, you are considered to have provided automatic consent for this. Your video image will not be recorded or stored during private mentorship 1-on-1 sessions. Your identity, name, image, or personal information shared during private online sessions will not be disclosed, shared, or broadcasted, and will be kept confidential.

5. Retreats and Events

These terms and conditions apply to all retreats and events offered by Av Neryah, whether held online or in person, unless a specific event page states otherwise. By booking or attending a retreat or event, you agree to these terms.

Please read them together with the event information on the relevant event page.

5.1 Bookings, payments and deposits

a) Your booking is made via the event page and is confirmed once payment (or any required deposit) has been received.

Where a non-refundable deposit is requested on the event information page, your booking is held until the balance due date stated for that event. The remaining balance must be paid by the specified date for your place to remain secure.

You may receive an email reminder before the balance due date with a link to complete payment. If payment is not received by that date, your place may be released and offered to someone on a waiting list. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify you before this happens.

If you anticipate difficulty paying by the due date, please contact us before the balance due date to discuss whether your booking can be held.

b) Prices and supported places

Event fees, any early-bird rates, and any supported / reduced-rate tickets are listed on the event page.

Supported or scholarship places, where offered, are intended to make the retreat accessible to those who genuinely need financial support. If you receive a supported rate or discount code, it is for your personal use only and should not be shared. Others who need support are warmly invited to select a supported option or apply in the way described on the event page.

5.2 Travel, accommodation and commuter tickets (in-person events)

a) Travel and visas

For in-person retreats and events, attendees are fully responsible for arranging and paying for their own transport to and from the venue, including any visas, travel documents and insurance.

Av Neryah and AHAV Liberation Lda cannot accept liability for travel disruptions, missed connections, or other issues relating to your journey.

b) Residential and commuter places

Event pages will specify whether an in-person retreat is residential (with on-site accommodation/meals) or offers commuter (non-residential) tickets.

If commuter tickets are offered:

1) Commuter tickets are non-residential. You are responsible for arranging your own accommodation and daily transport to and from the venue.

2) Av Neryah and AHAV Liberation Lda cannot refund deposits or balances, or be held responsible, if you are unable to secure suitable accommodation or transport. You are strongly advised to research accommodation and travel options before purchasing a commuter ticket.

3) Any transport or accommodation information provided on the event page is offered as a resource only. It does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee and may change. You remain responsible for checking details yourself.

4) Commuter ticket holders are not permitted to stay overnight on venue grounds (including sleeping in vehicles, camping, or using communal spaces) unless explicit permission has been granted by both the venue and the organizer.

5.3 Family and friends

Family members or friends are not permitted to accompany attendees during an in-person retreat unless they have registered as participants themselves.

5.4 Children and minors

Some venues and events may have restrictions regarding children. It is essential to contact the organizer before booking or attending with children to confirm whether their presence is permitted for that particular event.

Parents or legal guardians who wish a child to attend an event may be required to read and sign a waiver and release of liability for the child’s participation. This will be provided by the organizer if applicable.

Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at in-person residential retreats. The parent or guardian remains responsible for the minor’s supervision and wellbeing throughout. If a person under 18 wishes to attend any retreat or event, a parent or adult guardian must first contact the organizer to confirm the policy regarding minors for that specific event before booking.

5.5 Accessibility, special needs and service animals

a) Av Neryah aims to offer events in a spirit of inclusion and respect. If you have a disability, health condition or specific need, please let the organizer know at the time of booking or as early as possible before the event, so that we can explore any reasonable adjustments and practical support.

Advance notice gives the best chance to coordinate with venues and online platforms. While not all requests can necessarily be met, each will be considered with care.

b) Service animals and pets (in-person events)

For in-person events, trained service animals such as guide dogs may be allowed at some venues. If you plan to attend with a service animal, please contact the us before booking so we can liaise with the venue and clarify what is possible.

Pets and non-service animals are not permitted in retreat venues unless the organizer has given explicit permission in advance.

5.6 Photos/Footage:

Many events are recorded in audio and/or video format. This may include live streaming, time-limited replays and edited excerpts shared later. By booking or attending an event, you understand that your image and voice may be recorded during the event, and that selected excerpts may be used, edited and shared in various media formats (for example, audio, video or written form) for the ongoing sharing of the teachings, potentially with a wider audience. Any use of recordings is approached with discretion, sensitivity and respect.

For in-person events, photographs or video may occasionally be taken in the teaching space or around the venue. Where reasonably possible, efforts will be made to avoid focusing on individuals without consent and to preserve anonymity, while still allowing the essence of the event to be shared.

By attending, you are deemed to consent to the respectful use of recordings and images as part of the ongoing sharing of Av Neryah’s work. The event page will usually specify how long post-event replays are available (for example, streaming access for a certain number of weeks) and any options to purchase extended access.

6. Code of Conduct for Online and In-person Events

Events are offered as spaces of contemplation, sincerity and respect.

a) Substances

Events are free from recreational drugs. This applies to both in-person and online events. Using recreational drugs before or during sessions, including in online breakout rooms, is not permitted. If you are taking prescribed medication that might be mistaken for recreational drug use, please inform the organizer in advance so there is no misunderstanding. Excessive or inappropriate use of alcohol during a retreat or event is not allowed. Some venues have specific rules (for example, vegetarian-only catering, no alcohol on site). These will be communicated in advance, and attendees are expected to respect them. In serious cases, a venue may ask our group to leave if such conditions are not honored.

b) Behavior and Group Safety

Participants are asked to behave with respect for the group, the staff, the venue and the teaching. The organizer reserves the right to ask an attendee to leave a session, or to withdraw from a retreat or event, if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, persistently disregards the guidelines, or appears to put themselves or others at risk.

c) No solicitation

Events are intended as spaces for inquiry and contemplation, not for marketing or sales. Attendees are asked not to solicit business, promote products or services, distribute advertising materials, or conduct direct sales during retreats and events, whether in person or through any online spaces connected with the event.

Organic conversations about work and offerings may naturally arise, and mutually supportive connections may form. However, if it appears that someone is actively soliciting business, directly or indirectly, or offering paid or unpaid services in ways that feel inappropriate or uninvited, the organizer may ask that this stop.

If the request is not respected and the behavior continues, the organizer may ask that attendee to leave the retreat or event.

d) Refusal or termination of participation

The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to an event before it begins, or ask a participant to leave part or all of an event, if it appears that their participation is not in the best interest of themselves, other attendees, staff or the retreat as a whole, or if there is a significant risk of breach of these terms.

If participation is refused or ended for these reasons, the organizer may, at our discretion, refund the event fee in full or in part. Av Neryah or AHAV Liberation Lda cannot be held responsible for additional costs incurred such as travel, accommodation or other associated expenses.

7. Emotional and Psychological Wellbeing

These retreats and events, both online and in-person, invite a deep contemplation and exploration of our being, mind, nondual reality, and so on. This process can sometimes evoke strong feelings, vivid memories or other psychological material.

If you have any pre-existing medical or psychological conditions, or a history of significant mental health difficulties, you are encouraged to consult with your doctor, psychiatrist or therapist before registering, to assess whether the intensity and format of the event are appropriate at this time.

If you are unsure whether a retreat is suitable for you, you are invited to contact us in advance so that we can consider this together and, where possible, suggest what may be most supportive.

Events are held with care and the intention to create a supportive environment, and staff or volunteers may be able to offer limited practical support. However, neither Av Neryah nor any staff or volunteers are acting as therapists, counsellors or medical professionals, and the retreats and events are not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment or crisis care.

Ongoing one-to-one emotional or psychological support cannot be provided during a retreat or event by staff or by other participants. You remain responsible for your own emotional and psychological wellbeing, including seeking professional support where appropriate.

If it becomes apparent that you are unable to safely self-regulate, or continuing to participate in group sessions does not appear to be in your best interest, or in the best interest of the group, the organizer may ask you to step out of one or more sessions so you can process in a more suitable setting, or withdraw from the retreat or event.

Such decisions are made with care for you, other attendees and the staff.

Nothing shared by Av Neryah at an event, nor any related recordings, writings or materials, is intended to replace advice from a medical practitioner or mental health professional, nor to discourage you from seeking such advice where needed.

Any additional activities offered during a retreat (for example walking meditations, movement sessions, yoga, or similar) are undertaken at your own risk. You are responsible for listening to your body and limits and choosing whether and how to participate.

8. Online Events Recordings and Property Rights

By deciding to attend online group events/retreats, you agree that all the intellectual property rights and materials that derive from such an online event/retreat are the entire and sole property of Av Neryah and of this Website and its parent company.

Additionally, you are also agreeing to be broadcasted online, and this may be shared at a later time with a wider public, either entirely or in parts, in a video, audio, or written form, unless stated otherwise.

a) Recordings, images and use of media

Many events are recorded in audio and/or video format. This may include live streaming, time-limited replays and edited excerpts shared later. By booking or attending an event, you understand that your image and voice may be recorded during the event, and that selected excerpts may be used, edited and shared in various media formats (for example, audio, video or written form) for the ongoing sharing of the teachings, potentially with a wider audience. Any use of recordings is approached with discretion, sensitivity and respect.

b) Ticket Information

For online retreats and events, each ticket includes access to the live sessions for one person. Your registration and access details (including any meeting links, passcodes or login information) are for your personal use only. Please keep these details private. If someone else wishes to join, they are warmly invited to register for their own place. The event page may specify that you will receive a unique link from the online platform (for example, after completing a short registration step). You agree not to share that link or use it to host additional unregistered attendees.

If an unforeseen cancellation is required, your event fees will be refunded in full.
